Sanoussi Bilal is Executive Director at the European Centre for Development Policy Management (ECDPM). He also serves as a board member of the European Think Tank Group (ETTG) and as a Steering Committee member of the Ukȧmȧ Africa–Europe platform for sustainable development.
Previously, he worked at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), the European Institute of Public Administration, and the Economics Department of the University of Geneva.
His work focuses on geopolitical international relations, development and climate finance, sustainable investment, trade and global value chains, with particular emphasis on Africa and the reconstruction of Ukraine.
He holds a PhD in International Economics from the University of Birmingham, a master’s degree from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Geneva.
