Carlos Casanova is Senior Economist at Union Bancaire Privée (UBP), based in Hong Kong.
Previously, he was Economist, Asia-Pacific, at Coface, and also served as Economist for Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) in Hong Kong and for the European Commission in Beijing.
He holds a master’s degree in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a joint honours bachelor’s degree in Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
