The expectations of the climate change increase, as well as those of an economic, energetic and strategic nature in the Arctic. The Finnish Embassy in Spain and the Elcano Royal Institute co-organise this seminar to address environmental, scientific, economic and strategic Arctic issues.

It brought together representatives of the Finnish and Spanish Administration, as well as experts to discuss the state of Arctic cooperation and the strategic situation of the Arctic, the Finnish and Spanish polar strategies, the economic opportunities for both countries, the scientific interests of Spain, and the meteorological cooperation.
