Venue: Espacio Bertelsmann
Tuesday, 11th November 2025, from 11:00 to 14:00 h. CET (UTC+1). Venue: Espacio Bertelsmann (C/O’Donnell 10, Madrid).
Spain is moving towards a decarbonised energy model driven by the development of renewable energies, which by 2024 already supplied 56% of the country’s electricity. There are also significant investments in the hydrogen sector with the potential to decarbonise strategic industries and generate new opportunities for reindustrialisation.
The energy transition not only supports climate goals and the competitiveness of the Spanish economy but can also contribute to strengthening European energy security, reducing geopolitical dependencies and advancing towards a true Energy Union.
This event will examine the situation of the hydrogen sector in Spain, how to overcome the barriers that still limit its development, and the opportunities to fully integrate it into the European value chains.
