The second Trump administration is changing the foundations on which hemispheric and transatlantic relations were based. For the first time in a long time, Latin America seems to be among Washington’s foreign policy priorities.

In this context, what role do high-level summits play as a tool for discussing and proposing solutions to issues of common interest?

The Trilateral Forum Europe – Latin America – North America has been analysing various aspects of the relationship between the three regions. This public debate closes its eighth edition focusing on the role of summits in the current context of fragile multilateralism.
