Juan Manuel de Faramiñán Gilbert is Senior Research Fellow at the Elcano Royal Institute, Professor (Emeritus) of International Public Law and International Relations at the University of Jaén, Jean Monnet Chair in Institutions and Law of the European Union, Director of the Observatory of Globalisation of the University of Jaén, International Director (Emeritus) of the network of Latin American and Caribbean Universities Working on Technology, Politics and the Law of Outer Space ReLaCa-Space, Honorary Professor of the International University of Andalusia (UNIA), former Dean of the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences, former Deputy Rector of Institutional and International Relations at the University of Jaén, former Vice-President of the Governing Board of the Sierra de Andújar Natural Park (Jaén), Member and Secretary of the Court of Arbitration (Section of International Law) of the Bar Association of Jaén, Counsellor of the Instituto de Estudios Giennenses, Director of the Journal of Legal Studies of the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences of the University of Jaén, Member of the specialised panel of arbitrators established pursuant to the optional rules for arbitration of disputes relating to Outer Space Activities the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) at The Hague (Netherlands) and Member of the Spanish Chapter of the Club of Rome.
