EU-CELAC Economic Forum – Channels for a Joint Future

Bruegel, GIGA and Elcano Royal Institute

The new geopolitical scenario, together with the Digital Revolution, will have significant effects on the development of Latin America and the Caribbean, considering trade, migration and technological channels. These aspects represent common opportunities and challenges for both societies and economies. The EU-CELAC Economic Forum will explore those policies that will contribute to further engagement between both regions.
It is hoped that this new annual forum on EU-CELAC matters will feed into future regional Summits.

Emilio Lamo de Espinosa, President of the Elcano Royal Institute, and Ángel Badillo, senior analyst, among others, will participate in this event.

Wednesday 11 October 2017, 8.30am-2:45pm. Bruegel, rue de la Charité 33, 1210 Brussels
