The second Spain-US bilateral meeting between the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the Elcano Royal Institute was hosted by the latter on 14 June. The four sessions focused on the following issues: 'The war in Iraq and its impact on transatlantic relations'; 'The threat of international terrorism'; 'North Africa and the Greater Middle East debate'; and 'Spain-US bilateral relations after S11 and M11'. In addition to analysts from both institutions, participants included representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the US Embassy, the Spanish Parliament and the universities Carlos III and UNED.
