The Elcano Royal Institute’s internal structure is as follows: working under the Chairman is the Director, responsible for the academic output of the Institute and its distribution. The Chairman is Emilio Lamo de Espinosa and the Director is Charles Powell. Manuel Oteo has been the Manager of the Royal Elcano Institute since its inception.
