 The second of a series of workshops supported by the Presidency of the Spanish Government -which aim to involve civil society in the development of a Spanish Security Strategy- was focused on economic and energy issues. The workshop was held under the presidency of Javier Solana, Director of the Commission for the development of the Spanish Security Strategy (ESS) and former High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) of the EU. The first workshop was organised by Fundación Alternativas and CESEDEN, and the third one will be organised by CIDOB.
